These instructions assume that you have already downloaded RSF, expanded the file, and transferred the data to a save file on your AS/400. See Transferring Data to an AS/400 Save File for more information.
If you used Install Aid to transfer the downloaded save file to your AS/400 and you selected the "Custom" or "Generic" installation option, there's nothing more you need to do. Otherwise:
If you have a previous version of RSF installed on your system:
Sign on as QSECOFR.
Use the WRKOBJLCK command to insure that no other jobs have library RSF in their library list.
Run the following command, inserting the actual name and library of the save file you are installing from:

RSF/INLRSFPKG PKG(*SAVF) SAVF(library_name/save_file_name)

If your existing RSF release is earlier than 6.1, the command is slightly different:

RSF/INLRSFPKG SAVF(library_name/save_file_name)
Installation is complete. Enter GO RSF/RSF to see the main menu.
If you do not have a previous version of RSF installed:
Sign on as QSECOFR.
Run the following command to restore the RSF library from the save file:
RSTLIB SAVLIB(RSF) DEV(*SAVF) SAVF(library/save_file)
Run the following command to complete the installation:
RSF/INZRSF SDLC(*YES)
These instructions assume that you already have RSF installed, and that you have downloaded RSFTOOLS, expanded the file, and transferred the data to a save file on your AS/400. See Transferring Data to an AS/400 Save File for more information.

These instructions assume that you have already downloaded Rsfx32.exe or Rsfx.exe to your PC.
Create an empty folder on your PC and move the downloaded .exe file to it.
Double-click on the .exe file to expand it.
Double-click on setup.exe to begin the installation. Follow the instructions on the screen.
